Getting into game audio is rough. There are thousands of plugins, sample libraries, DAWs, middleware tools and half of them cost money you probably don't have when you're just starting out. So you search around, find some "best free plugins" lists that are already two years old, try a few things, get confused by the options, and eventually just pick whatever shows up first on Google.
The good stuff is out there. But it's scattered across forums, Reddit threads, YouTube comments, and blog posts that may or may not still be accurate. Nobody is really making sense of it all.
My attempt to make sense of it all. Every tool has a description, pros and cons, platform info, and why it matters for game audio specifically. The goal is to be useful when you're trying to pick between five plugins that all claim to be the best. I also track when free stuff goes paid, so you don't find out the hard way.
The goal is simple: when you come back to audio after months away, this site should get you caught up in minutes instead of hours.

Just a developer who does game audio as a hobby and got tired of re-researching the same tools every few months. So I started creating this site to keep track of everything and figured others might find it useful too.
