An extreme time-stretching plugin based on Paul Nasca's original PaulStretch algorithm, rebuilt as a proper plugin by Sonosaurus. Takes any audio and stretches it to extreme lengths — we're talking 10x, 100x, or even 1000x the original duration. The result is a smooth, ambient, pad-like texture derived from the source material.
The algorithm works by doing a spectral analysis and reconstructing the audio at the new time scale. Unlike normal time-stretching, there are no artifacts even at extreme settings — it just creates these beautiful, evolving washes of sound. Has additional processing like spectral filters, harmonics, and frequency spreading.
Based on the legendary PaulStretch standalone app that became a meme for stretching songs to hours-long ambient pieces.
