What it does

A spectral warping wavetable synth that genuinely changed what people expect from a free plugin. Vital gives you three wavetable oscillators with spectral warping — so instead of just morphing between wavetable frames, you can manipulate the harmonics directly. Creates timbres you wouldn't get from standard wavetable playback.

The modulation system is drag-and-drop with real-time visual feedback at 60fps. You see exactly what every modulation source is doing to every parameter. Custom LFO shapes, remappable mod curves, stereo mod splitting, full MPE support. It's deep but never feels overwhelming because the UI just shows you what's happening.

The free tier includes 75 presets and 25 wavetables which is already more than enough to work with. Paid tiers add more presets, wavetables, and text-to-wavetable generation. But the synth engine itself is identical across all tiers.
